1. Yantroddhara (यन्त्रोद्धार)

   It is very significant to use correct Yantra for Puja. Without correct Yantra, the purpose of Yantra worship would not be fulfilled.

   Yantra Puja needs Muhurat and should be done on an auspicious day and time. For Ganesh Yantra Puja, the day Ganesh Chaturthi are considered auspicious.

   Yantra can be drawn on Bhojpatra with red Chandan. However, Yantra made of Gold, Silver and Copper are mostly used for Puja as those can be kept in Puja room for daily worship.

   A correctly casted Ganesha Yantra would have Bindu i.e. the dot in the central, Shatkona i.e. a hexagonal concentric with dot, Ashtadala i.e. a lotus flower with eight leaves concentric with dot and hexagonal. The dot, hexagonal and Ashtadala should be surrounded by four doors in all four directions. These outer doors are known as GaneshYantra. Ganesha Yantra is a sacred energy device that infuses within you the power to focus and accomplish your goals.    How to Use the Ganesha Yantra

      •  Place the Yantra facing the East or the North on a clean and sacred altar.
      •  Do not let other people touch the Yantra.
      •  Periodically wash the Yantra with rose water or milk. Then, rinse it with water and wipe it to dry. The Yantra’s color may change over a period of time; however this does not dilute the power of the Yantra.
      •  Place rounded dots of sandalwood paste on the 4 corners and in the center of the Yantra.
      •  Light a candle or ghee lamp and an incense stick in front of the Yantra. You can offer fresh or dry fruits as Prasad, as well.
      •  Chant the Mantra above in front of the Yantra, preferably after you have showered.
